In research, we love positive results. We celebrate what works. But what about the studies that show no effect? What about the null findings?

Too often, these results get buried in a drawer. Researchers feel ashamed. Funders are disappointed. Journals reject them.

But here is the truth:

• Null findings are not failures. They are lessons.
• Negative results save other researchers from repeating the same mistakes.
• Publishing the full picture protects communities and guides better policy.

There are journals that publish only negative and null findings. They are not shameful. They are essential.

Let us stop hiding the truth. Publish the positive. Publish the negative. Publish the null.
